New HGV Tractor added to the fleet

Steptoe’s latest addition to the HGV fleet, a Volvo FH Globetrotter Artic Tractor Unit and shiny-new bulk tipping trailer preparing for a weekend of hauling recycled aggregate from one of our demolition sites in Bury.

Not only does this new vehicle gives us the facility to deal with the transport of larger volumes of materials and waste in one trip with its aggregate body and bulk waste trailer, with its ‘low-loader’ trailer it also allows us to transport our own demolition machinery in and out of our various contracts, so it really is a versatile vehicle which strengthens our ‘self-sufficiency’ across our contract works.
