At Steptoes Yard our professional approach to our work never goes unnoticed and the amount of work we win off the back of other projects speaks volumes for the way we operate as a demolition company. In the past we have taken down prominent mills that helped shape towns and we have demolished large, unsafe modern structures that have been fire damaged.
We recently won a deal to demolish a Victorian Railway Sidings Warehouse in the centre of Chester, which was known as Chester Enterprise Centre in more recent times, as the old railway warehouse had been transformed into individual offices and retail ‘pods. Unfortunately a dramatic fire ended the life of the Enterprise Centre, but the solid construction of the old railway warehouse, which was constructed of brick, ensured that the structure stood up to the fire exceptionally well; apart from the timber roof.
The bricks are now palletised in our yard and ready to be sold!, there are around 100,000 of these bricks and the size is approx 9” long x 4 ¼ ” wide x 3” deep and they are £0.50 each plus VAT and delivery.
